Most working individuals eat at least one meal or snack at work every day, which makes the workplace an ideal setting to encourage healthy eating.  A healthy diet is essential for normal growth and development and for reducing risk of chronic diseases.  As a result, what you eat during the workday can have an important impact on your overall wellbeing. 
 
There are many factors that go into decisions about what to eat.  Time constraints, taste, convenience, cost, and health all play a role in eating decisions.  This site provides tools and resources to help NIH employees balance all of these factors and to make healthy choices for meals at work and at home.
