Let Me Know How I Can Help

Open hand with heart shape above

I joined the NHLBI and got married in 2008 and both are still going strong.

I began my career as a Workforce Planning Specialist and married my college sweetheart the same year. I transitioned into the Chief of Staff for the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences in 2012 where I still work.  My husband and I have two sons ages 14 and 11, and four furbabies.

Fountain pen

I have a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology and MS in Biodefense.

I have leveraged my scientific education and my soft skills to become an expert in organizational planning and change management, workforce development and personnel management, staff and operational policy as well as performance management.

I became a Stephen Minister in 2023, where I provide emotional and spiritual support to those experiencing difficulties in life.

I am passionate about providing care and support for mind, body, emotional and spiritual wellness.  In order to be effective at supporting others, I must also show myself the same love and care to my own wellness, and this looks like breathwork, walks outdoors, emotional and physical check-ins, and a variety of other practices.

    3. works productively; and
    4. is able to make a contribution to their community
