National Work and Family Month in October

We juggle multiple competing responsibilities every day - work, family, and taking care of ourselves. Finding a healthy balance among them is essential to maintaining our well-being. Well-Being is defined by Gallup, into five essential categories:   Social, Community, Career, Physical and Financial.  During October, the Office of Research Services, Office of Human Resources, and the Resilience Through Well-Being campaign have planned over 60 virtual activities and made available resources to address each of the five areas of well-being.  There is something for everyone!

Each week will focus on one or two of the essential well-being categories.

Week 1:  Resilience Through Well-Being

Week 2:  Social & Community Well-being

Week 3:  Career Well-Being

Week 4:  Physical/Mental Health and Financial Well-Being

More information will be provided on the Wellness@NIH website on October 1.  If you have any questions, please email Tonya S. Lee, NIH Work-Life Coordinator via email.
