Please welcome Leslie Pont as the NIH Health, Fitness and Well-Being Program Manager. From her roots in competitive gymnastics, both as a gymnast and later as a coach, to practicing what she preaches as a yoga and mindfulness student and instructor, to her over 23 years advocating in the fields of health education, fitness and well-being, Leslie Pont brings her unique skillset as a disciple and leader to the NIH Health, Fitness and Well-Being Program Manager position.
Combined with over 10 years leading strategic change initiatives, a master's degree in Organizational Leadership specializing in Strategic Communication, a bachelor's degree in Health, Fitness and Recreational Resources with a concentration in Health Promotion and Exercise Science, she also holds certifications as a health and wellness coach, health education specialist, personal trainer, worksite wellness specialist, yoga instructor as well as numerous mind/body training programs. Leslie's vast experience, coupled with her insight and passion, are a welcome addition to the NIH wellness community.
