NIH’s Well Being Ambassadors are Building Community

The mission of NIH's Well-Being Ambassadors is to promote, support, and engage the NIH community to advance the concept of well-being and associated initiatives.  Recently, the ambassadors held their quarterly meeting and took advantage of this time to collaborate with OD partner Sandy Scarbrough to hear about the Resilience Through Well-Being Campaign as well as updates from Health & Wellness Council Co-Chairs Beverly Jordan and Andrea Keane-Myers.

In addition, Leslie Pont was introduced as the new Health, Fitness & Well-being Program Manager and shared her excitement to get acclimated.  To round out the meeting, several NIH institutes (ICs) spotlighted their efforts on how wellness is being advocated for in their ICs. The vibe of the meeting was informative and fostered a sense of connecting each wellness entity to build a stronger wellness community for NIH.
